E-skin and where the tech may lead us
May 8th, 2016 | Opinion
An article on covering your body in light with organic photonic "e-skin" hit my desk recently. I’d never heard of e-skin before, but apparently it’s been around for a while. The implications and development possibilities are utterly mind-boggling, so I wanted to explore these in an opinion piece.
The broader potential of securing Wi-Fi using proximity
April 21st, 2016 | Opinion

A little while ago an article came across my email about a new type of router developed at MIT. This router does not require a Wi-Fi password, but instead allows people to use the Wi-Fi access point based on their proximity to the router. While this is great and convenient, it made me wonder — could this technology have broader applications than that local café?
